A four-star hotel in Versailles - one of France's leading tourist destinations - is attracting guests by offering gourmet food to their dogs.
Unlike many other luxury establishments, the Trianon Palace hotel has always allowed pets onto its premises.
But from 4 September, canine guests will receive VIP treatment.
The hotel is introducing a new package called "heavenly pet," featuring room service menus for dogs.
The delicacies on offer include pure beef hamburger, fillet of fish, chicken breast - all served with fresh vegetables.
"We also propose dog biscuits for those who have a specific diet and are not used to eating fresh food on a daily basis," Trianon Palace spokeswoman Vanina Minassian-Sommer told BBC News Online.
Portion sizes will vary according to the size, weight and breed of the dogs.
Ms Minassian-Sommer said the hotel had decided to launch the scheme to reaffirm that dogs are welcome, and offer a wider range of services to them and their owners.
Four-legged visitors will also be offered a designer basket with a luxury blanket, as well as a range of pet toiletries including shampoo and a popular fragrance called Oh My Dog!
The package - which costs 365 euros ($400) a night for a couple and a pet - also includes an "agility course" for dogs in the hotel's grounds.
For those eager to pamper their pooches even more, extra services - such as grooming and psychological support - are available for a supplement.
